Eight Repair Cafes completed, and we are making a difference!

4686kg of carbon emissions have been prevented by the 232 successful repairs carried out.

59% of the items presented to our amazing volunteers have been repaired.

Only 39 of 398 items were considered to be  unrepairable!

That is equivalent to the amount of CO2 saved by growing 78 tree seedlings for 10 years, or driving about 12,000 miles or charging over 280,000 smartphones!

Booking a Repair


We are now taking bookings for repairs at the ninth Burwell Repair Cafe which will be held on Sunday 2nd March 2025 , from 14:00 to 17:00 in Mandeville Hall.

You can book a slot to have your broken appliances assessed and, hopefully, mended at the next Burwell Repair Cafe.

The earlier you book, the more likely we are to be able to see your item.

If you make a booking - please make a record of the date in your diary or calendar.
We will also send you a link so you can add the event automatically to an online calendar.

Just complete the form below: we will get back to you with event details in the week before the Repair Cafe.
